Tool Details
- Tool name: ATF2 Flox Mouse
- Tool type: Experimental models
- Tool sub-type: Mouse
- Model: Conditional KO
- Conditional: Yes
- Genetic background and cross history: Atf2 genomic sequences were isolated by screening a 129/ola mouse cosmid library, cloned into pPGKneobpAlox2PGKDlacZ-pA-neo-loxP, transfected into 129/ola embryonic stem cells and selected for G418 resistance. Transgenic animals were produced by blastocyst injection and offspring mice were backcrossed at least six times with C57 Bl/6 mice to produce isogenic lines.
- Phenotype: Homozygous normal phenotype
- Zygosity: Homozygous
- Description: Conditional knockout of ATF2 DNA binding domain. Transcription factor (BZIP-type, AP1-family)
- Research area: Cell biology; Cell signaling and signal transduction; Developmental biology; Genetics; Immunology
