Tool Details

  • Tool name: Anti-mEMILIN1 [mEMIL]
  • Tool type: Antibodies
  • Tool sub-type: Primary antibody
  • Class: Monoclonal
  • Conjugate: Unconjugated
  • Reactivity: Mouse
  • Host: Rat
  • Application: ELISA ; IHC ; IF ; WB
  • Description: Emilin-1 (Elastin Microfibril Interface Located proteIN) is an extracellular matrix glycoprotein. Is part of a protein family which have been shown to be expressed in smooth muscle and other mesenchymal tissues and is localized at the proximity of elastin and microfibrils. Emilin-1 interacts with the Î?4Î?1 integrin via the C-terminal gC1q domain. It binds pro-TGFB preventing its maturation to mature TGFB in the extracellular space, therefore influencing the regulation of blood and lymph vessels formation and maintenance.
  • Immunogen: Recombinant murine Emilin-1 as immunizing antigen; Wistar rat as host
  • Research area: Extracellular Matrix; Cancer

  • For Research Use Only

Target Details

  • Target: mEMILIN1
  • Target background: Emilin-1 (Elastin Microfibril Interface Located proteIN) is an extracellular matrix glycoprotein. Is part of a protein family which have been shown to be expressed in smooth muscle and other mesenchymal tissues and is localized at the proximity of elastin and microfibrils. Emilin-1 interacts with the a4?1 integrin via the C-terminal gC1q domain. It binds pro-TGFB preventing its maturation to mature TGFB in the extracellular space, therefore influencing the regulation of blood and lymph vessels formation and maintenance.
