Description: Recombinant anti-estradiol immunocomplex antibody [C6] binds to anti-Estradiol-17-beta antibody [S16] and oestradiol-17-beta. Detection of circulatory oestradiol (E2) has many uses in various clinical applications.
The use of this antibody alongside the anti-Estradiol-17-beta [S16] antibody makes up the basis for an E2 assay which addresses the low circulatory levels of E2 within blood samples (the cause of failure for many similar competitive immunoassays).
This recombinant antibody aids in extracting clinical relevant information from circulatory E2 levels, for example during aromatase inhibitor therapy for breast cancer.
