Tool Details
- Tool name: Anti-CXCL16 [4.4]
- Clone: 4.4
- Tool type: Antibodies
- Class: Monoclonal
- Conjugate: Unconjugated
- Reactivity: Human
- Host: Mouse
- Application: IF ; WB
- Description: CXCL16, a newly discovered CXC chemokine, exists both in a transmembrane and a soluble form. The membrane bound chemokine act as a ligand for CXC chemokine receptor (CXCR) 6 which is expressed by peripheral blood leukocytes. This membrane-bound CXCL16 is expressed in antigen-presenting cells such as monocytes, macrophages, B cells and dendritic cells in the T-cell zone of lymph nodes, whereas the soluble CXCL16 can be produced by constitutive cleavage from the cell membrane. In addition, CXCL16 expression has been associated with a number of human inflammatory diseases including rheumatoid arthritis, interstitial lung diseases, atherosclerosis, coronary artery disease and liver injury.
- Immunogen: GST-CXCL16 (143-224aa) fusion protein
- Isotype: IgG1 kappa
- Research area: Tissue-specific biology; Immunology
- Myeloma used: Sp2/0-Ag14
- For Research Use Only
