- Class: Monoclonal
- Conjugate: Unconjugated
- Reactivity: Bovine ; Human
- Host: Mouse
- Application: EM (EM) ; IHC ; IF ; WB
- Strain: Balb/c
- Description: 33-3D is directed against desmoglein in mammalian tissues, tumours and cultured cells.
- Immunogen: Bovine desmoglein (desmosomal glycoprotein 1) from nasal epidermis
- Isotype: IgM
- Research area: Cell biology; Cancer; Cell signaling and signal transduction
- Myeloma used: P3/NS1/1-Ag4.1
- For Research Use Only
Target Details
- Target: Desmoglein 1 and 2
- Target background: Desmoglein 1 is a calcium-binding transmembrane glycoprotein component of desmosomes in vertebrate epithelial cells. Desmosomes are intercellular adhesive junctions that occur in almost all epithelia and should therefore be useful as epithelial markers in tumour diagnosis.
