Tool Details

  • Tool name: Anti-p22phox [CS9]
  • Tool type: Antibodies
  • Tool sub-type: Primary Antibody
  • Class: Monoclonal
  • Conjugate: Unconjugated
  • Reactivity: Human
  • Host: Mouse
  • Molecular weight of the target: 21 kDa
  • Application: WB
  • Description: Monoclonal antibody which detects cytochrome b light chain. Background and Research Application p22phox protein, also known as the human neutrophil cytochrome b light chain (CYBA), is a heterodimeric integral membrane protein which is an essential component of the membrane-associated enzyme phagocyte NADPH-oxidase. Mutations in CYBA gene are known to cause autosomal recessive chronic granulomatous disease that is characterized by the failure of activated phagocytes to generate superoxide. Specific polymorphisms of the CYBA gene have also been identified that are associated with a decreased risk of coronary artery disease.
  • Immunogen: Partially purified human neutrophil flavocytochrome b
  • Immunogen UniProt ID: P13498
  • Isotype: IgG1
  • Research area: Immunology

  • For Research Use Only
