Tool Details
- Tool name: Anti-Follistatin 315 [H10]
- Alternate names: Follistatin, FS, FST, Active-binding protein
- Clone: H10
- Tool type: Antibodies
- Tool sub-type: Primary antibody
- Class: Monoclonal
- Conjugate: Unconjugated
- Reactivity: Human
- Host: Mouse
- Molecular weight of the target: 37 kDa
- Application: ELISA ; IHC ; WB
- Description: Follistatin is a single-chain glycosylated protein that inhibits follicle stimulating hormone (FSH) release. Alternative splicing of Follistatin mRNA yields two isoforms, FS315 and FS288. FS315 is considered the main circulating form of Follistatin. Clone H10 recognizes an epitope on the C-terminal region of human Follistatin 315, allowing for detection of FSH levels using various analysis methods. ELISA experiments showed that H10 interacts with FS315 and does not interact with FS288.
- Immunogen: Synthetic peptide corresponding to sequence CDEDQDYSFPISSILEW of the C- terminal region of human Follistatin 315
- Isotype: IgG2a
- Research area: Cancer; Cell signaling and signal transduction; Genetics; Immunology; Neurobiology; Stem cell biology
- Myeloma used: Sp2/0-Ag14
- For Research Use Only
