Tool Details

  • Tool name: Anti-TCR CBeta1 [JOVI.1]rAb
  • Clone: rJOVI.1
  • Tool type: Antibodies
  • Tool sub-type: Primary antibody
  • Class: Recombinant
  • Conjugate: Unconjugated
  • Reactivity: Human
  • Host: Mouse
  • Application: FACS ; IHC ; IF ; IP
  • Description: Recombinant antibody which aids investigation into T-cell mediated diseases. Background and Research Application The T cell receptor is expressed on all mature T cells. The T cell receptor is heterodimer of alpha/beta or gamma/delta chains, expressed on all mature T cells. TCR’s recognize antigen peptides bound to MHC molecules, providing the basis of antigen specific response by T cells. Genetic mutations involving the T cell receptor ? locus have been associated with T cell lymphomas. Recombinant version of the anti-JOVI.1 monoclonal antibody. JOVI.1 can be used for studies of T-cell mediated diseases, including autoimmunity and allergy. Antibody JOVI?1 recognised a determinant on the majority of TCRs, staining 50-75% of peripheral blood T cells and T cell lines expressing different V? regions.
  • Immunogen: Thymus, spleen and mesenteric lymph nodes isolated from a mouse transgenic for human Vb3 TcR.
  • Immunogen UniProt ID: P01850
  • Isotype: IgG2a
  • Research area: Cell biology; Immunology

  • For Research Use Only
