- Application: FACS ; IHC
- Description: SIGLEC-2 (CD22) is first expressed in the cytomplasm of pre- and pro- B cells. SIGLEC-2 is broadly expressed in normal and neoplastic B cells and absent from other leucocytes and tissues. SIGLEC-2 is a member of the immunoglobulin superfamily and serves as an adhesion receptor for sialic acid-bearing ligands expressed on erythrocytes and all leukocyte classes. It also associates with tyrosine kinases and play a role in signal transduction and B-cell activation. SIGLEC-2 is strongly expressed in hairy cell leukaemias.
- Immunogen: B cell lymphoma cells
- Isotype: IgG2a
- Research area: Cancer; Immunology; Stem cell biology
- Myeloma used: P3/NS1/1-Ag4.1
- For Research Use Only
